Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kuno Räim started the match with the kick off. If Jaan Lutsar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kuno Räim came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Marjandi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuno Räim couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuno Räim in the 10th minute of play forced FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's goalkeeper Volli Luuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Volli Luuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuno Räim, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Urmet Vähi came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Marjandi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urmet Vähi couldn't finish the play. FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's Volli Luuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuno Räim in the 14th minute of play. Urmet Vähi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuno Räim in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volli Luuse saved FC Manchester Utd Rakvere from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's zone, Kuno Räim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volli Luuse came out of the goal and Kuno Räim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kuno Räim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volli Luuse having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Leopold Reikop cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Üllar Kohv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Urmet Vähi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volli Luuse was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes FC Manchester Utd Rakvere got a freekick which was hit by Kaur Sõõr. Allan Aasma kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Urmet Vähi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Volli Luuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Marjandi SK's Kuno Räim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volli Luuse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jaan Lutsar made the kick off in the second half. Jaan Lutsar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Üllar Kohv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Allan Aasma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marjandi SK and the FC Manchester Utd Rakvere players grew even worse after the yellow card. Allan Aasma kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Urmet Vähi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Volli Luuse made a huge save. Volli Luuse made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ilmar Kaar sent off a good shot on target. Urmet Vähi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volli Luuse having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urmet Vähi got free with Volli Luuse in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urmet Vähi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Volli Luuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Ilmar Kaar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's Volli Luuse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's Tarvi Luige got a free kick in the 79th minute. Tarvi Luige got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 82 played minutes FC Manchester Utd Rakvere got a freekick which was hit by Tarvi Luige. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Urmet Vähi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marjandi SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Urmet Vähi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volli Luuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Elmo Sau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urmet Vähi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Manchester Utd Rakvere players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
