In the 6th minute Elmo Sau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kert Elu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuno Räim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kert Elu having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Andro Osjamets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Üllar Kohv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Urmet Vähi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marjandi SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Kert Elu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilmar Kaar in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Fauna's Kert Elu got control of the ball when Urmet Vähi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Marjandi SK's Kuno Räim in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Fauna's goalie prevented a goal. Kuno Räim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kert Elu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urmet Vähi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kert Elu having to interfere. Olavi Kroonmäe took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Üllar Kohv. Üllar Kohv dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half FC Fauna were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the FC Fauna defense, Urmet Vähi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kert Elu. The FC Fauna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kert Elu should have stopped the shot. Paul Kruusimaa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Urmet Vähi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuno Räim took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kert Elu. Kert Elu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Urmet Vähi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urmet Vähi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kert Elu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Fauna's Kert Elu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuno Räim in the 74th minute of play. Kert Elu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Kuno Räim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Kert Elu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Fauna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Fauna's Kert Elu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmet Vähi in the 89th minute of play. If Olavi Kroonmäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kert Elu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuno Räim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marjandi SK fully deserved thier win.
