The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ott Treial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Vaino Kaldoja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingmar Luga was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. When Vaino Kaldoja came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Kaboonid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaino Kaldoja couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heldur Viikmaa got free with Ingmar Luga in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the game, one of Kaboonid:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FC ETTan a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lauri Lilleväli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kaboonid's Evert Villemsaar. 0-1. Heldur Viikmaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ingmar Luga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arni Rank hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Heldur Viikmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Luga having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaino Kaldoja in the 27th minute of play forced FC ETTan's goalkeeper Ingmar Luga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Endel Ragel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaboonid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ETTan the free kick. Vaino Kaldoja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Luga having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaino Kaldoja in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingmar Luga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 played minutes Mario Luige rounded FC ETTan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The audience was convinced that Vaino Kaldoja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingmar Luga was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 45th minute of the match Tom Tänav shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingmar Luga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Arni Rank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaino Kaldoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vaino Kaldoja to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for FC ETTan. Lauri Lilleväli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Evert Villemsaar. 1-2. FC ETTan's Ingmar Luga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaino Kaldoja in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Uudo Koemets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaboonid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ETTan the free kick. The supporters of FC ETTan booed when Kaboonid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uudo Koemets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ott Treial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heldur Viikmaa in the 71st minute of play forced FC ETTan's goalkeeper Ingmar Luga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC ETTan defense, Heldur Viikmaa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingmar Luga. The FC ETTan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingmar Luga should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC ETTan getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arni Rank hit a great ball. Tom Tänav was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 85th match minute, FC ETTan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauri Lilleväli to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Arni Rank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heldur Viikmaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingmar Luga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heldur Viikmaa ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Kaboonid getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tom Tänav hit a great ball. Evert Villemsaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmo Rahusoo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaboonid's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
