Heiki Kuusik's late challenge caught a Essential's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heiki Kuusik helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kalle Raimets made a kick off. Oliver Virk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janar Kink, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Janar Kink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Essential's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Essential may have spent more time on the ball, but SK Meedla were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
