If Gunnar Aader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Gunnar Aader managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakna FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Aader was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jüri Ilves fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unnaste's protests and gave Jüri Ilves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sakna FS booed when Unnaste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jüri Ilves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simo Aaring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Heino Haljas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Aader struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Kaarel Taimre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakna FS. Heino Haljas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villu Ainsaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Sakna FS got a freekick which was hit by Erik Murumets. In the 34th minute, Villu Ainsaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simo Aaring struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kaarel Taimre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Aader's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Sakna FS's Gunnar Aader got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 46 in the game by Gunnar Aader from a close distance when the talented Kaarel Taimre managed to make a qualified save. Unnaste's players were relieved. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Aader stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Teras kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simo Aaring got free with Heino Haljas in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kalev Paadam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaarel Taimre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Rainer Hütt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unnaste and the Sakna FS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Unnaste got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Hütt. Kaarel Taimre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taniel Suvi in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Unnaste getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Härmo Rüütel hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Villu Ainsaar took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Heino Haljas to make any attempt to save it. In the 76thth minute of the game Gunnar Aader who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unnaste's Kaarel Taimre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaupo Unt during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Villu Ainsaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Unnaste eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
