The supporters of Tagadi booed when JK TOENGLAMANG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avo Niilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the JK TOENGLAMANG defense, Toomas Mustkivi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aivar Õlekõrs. The JK TOENGLAMANG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aivar Õlekõrs should have stopped the shot. Rudolf Honga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivar Õlekõrs having to interfere. Raivo Püss made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Urmas Rannus sent off a good shot on target. Aivar Õlekõrs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toomas Mustkivi's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urmas Rannus in the 19th minute of play forced Tagadi's goalkeeper Raivo Püss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tagadi getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hugo Hunt hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match August Randoja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raivo Püss showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot by August Randoja from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Raivo Püss's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Toomas Mustkivi put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Aivar Õlekõrs. After having played for 43 minutes, Urmas Rannus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK TOENGLAMANG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urmas Rannus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toomas Mustkivi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aivar Õlekõrs saved JK TOENGLAMANG from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tambet Ansip was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tagadi's Jass Laaneoks got a free kick in the 51st minute. Aivar Õlekõrs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toomas Mustkivi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 61st match minute, JK TOENGLAMANG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sepo Raag to maneuver through the defense. If Jan Lehto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Herbert Karbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toomas Mustkivi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivar Õlekõrs having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Tambet Ansip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Tagadi's Kristofer Noorsalu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aivar Õlekõrs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ando Rakso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tagadi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ando Rakso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aivar Õlekõrs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Toomas Mustkivi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Aivar Õlekõrs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raivo Püss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raivo Kapten, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Tagadi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
