In the 10th minute, one of White Lion:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for White Lion. Endel Umal's late challenge caught a White Lion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Endel Umal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Narova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endel Umal to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tom Kurvits's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Lehis was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. With a little luck, Narova FC's Arne Lehis got control of the ball when Kalvi Kaarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Narova FC's Neeme Saareleht in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hannes Nool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eerik Ojakäär tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neeme Saareleht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to White Lion getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Üllar Kena hit a great ball. Uku Sangaste hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Kalvi Kaarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Lehis having to interfere. Eerik Ojakäär stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neeme Saareleht's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Hannes Nool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Eerik Ojakäär tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Kurvits made a kick off. Olari Oll, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Neeme Saareleht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White Lion's Eerik Ojakäär was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arne Lehis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalvi Kaarna in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Narova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kalvi Kaarna came free, but Arne Lehis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eerik Ojakäär made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neeme Saareleht in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the White Lion defense, Hannes Nool kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eerik Ojakäär. The White Lion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eerik Ojakäär should have stopped the shot. After 78 minutes of play, White Lion's Tom Kurvits made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Lehis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arne Lehis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalvi Kaarna in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Neeme Saareleht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Narova FC's Hannes Nool sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eerik Ojakäär narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Neeme Saareleht put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eerik Ojakäär. White Lion's Eerik Ojakäär proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save White Lion from getting a goal against them.
