Harkujarve's Tom Kasemägi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Kurvits in the 25th minute of play. Harkujarve's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Jann Raudsaar scored to the left of an out of position Tom Kasemägi, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Osjamets in the 29th minute of play forced White Lion's goalkeeper Eerik Ojakäär to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arne Osjamets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Harkujarve fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Harkujarve's Priidik Vaigurand looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Priidik Vaigurand in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eerik Ojakäär saved White Lion from getting behind. Eerik Ojakäär showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Osjamets, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tom Kurvits stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. White Lion's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olari Oll in the 57th minute. The corner led White Lion's Kalvi Kaarna to fire away a dangerous shot which Tom Kasemägi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Priidik Vaigurand might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eerik Ojakäär. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Priidik Vaigurand ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to White Lion getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Juhan Kaiklem hit a great ball. Arne Osjamets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harkujarve's Priidik Vaigurand got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Harkujarve booed when White Lion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Kurvits didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erni Eelmäe charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erni Eelmäe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juhan Kaiklem during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Juhan Kaiklem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
