The supporters of Küüslaugu Kasvatajad booed when JK Delta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vello Kurg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Veetamm in the 24th minute of play forced JK Delta's goalkeeper Keijo Lips to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanel Lossmann struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Keijo Lips didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Küüslaugu Kasvatajad. Riivo Valu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanel Lossmann in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keijo Lips prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keijo Lips showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanel Lossmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Küüslaugu Kasvatajad's Aabel Ojarand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keijo Lips narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to JK Delta's Gunnar Laik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. JK Delta's Eevald Heinväli got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Veetamm to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Küüslaugu Kasvatajad's goal looked a bit too open when Eevald Heinväli came free, but Jan Auru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keijo Lips showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Veetamm, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 63 minutes, Tõnu Esko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JK Delta and the Küüslaugu Kasvatajad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aabel Ojarand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Veetamm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keijo Lips read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
