Sakha
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vello Veskur started the match with the kick off. Andrus Aasamaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riivo Rank in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Riivo Rank left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sidani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. From close distance Anton Räni pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 11 minutes into the game. SK Sakha's Andrus Aasamaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riivo Rank in the 15th minute of play. Riivo Rank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrus Aasamaa having to interfere. Andrus Aasamaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riivo Rank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SK Sakha's zone, Vello Veskur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrus Aasamaa came out of the goal and Vello Veskur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan Ranna's late challenge caught a Sidani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Ranna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sidani booed when SK Sakha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Ranna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Sidani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vello Veskur to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vello Veskur in the 28th minute of play forced SK Sakha's goalkeeper Andrus Aasamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vello Veskur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, SK Sakha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janno Otsatalu to maneuver through the defense. When Riivo Rank came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Sidani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riivo Rank couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SK Sakha's Joonatan Joller got a free kick in the 37th minute. Riivo Rank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Räni got free with Pascal Blommaert in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riivo Rank in the 46th minute of play forced SK Sakha's goalkeeper Andrus Aasamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sidani fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Sidani's Vello Veskur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oodo Kalm made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Janno Otsatalu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Sakha and the Sidani players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, SK Sakha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janno Otsatalu to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Sidani's Andrus Aasamaa threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vello Veskur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andrus Aasamaa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Riivo Rank sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 59 minutes, Riivo Rank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sidani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riivo Rank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anton Räni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute Vello Veskur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrus Aasamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oodo Kalm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oodo Kalm struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Pascal Blommaert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Sakha. Pascal Blommaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Räni in the 73rd minute of play. Pascal Blommaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Räni, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Sidani's Sulev Lippus got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Pascal Blommaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Räni in the 85th minute of the match. Rando Taimre hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, SK Sakha's goalkeeper Andrus Aasamaa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Riivo Rank. SK Sakha's Oodo Kalm got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oodo Kalm in the 98th minute of play forced Sidani's goalkeeper Pascal Blommaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
