Aivo Lossmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Andrus Aasamaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martti Kingisepp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Andrus Aasamaa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, Anton Räni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Sakha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Halte the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Aivo Lossmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrus Aasamaa. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Aivo Lossmann struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Andrus Aasamaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Halte.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aivo Lossmann made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martti Kingisepp in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrus Aasamaa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ainar Uss was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SK Sakha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Andrus Aasamaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aivo Lossmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
