With his leg Rein Kahest managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when FC Halte's Martti Kingisepp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Edvin Ridal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pärnu Lihtsad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Ridal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maarek Remme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 minutes, Heldur Tihumets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Halte and the Pärnu Lihtsad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Heldur Tihumets hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pärnu Lihtsad FC's Samuel Talvari got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes Mark Kevad shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Rein Kahest when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After 22nd play minutes Aivo Lossmann shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Rein Kahest and just under the crossbar into goal. Maarek Remme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Ridal in the 25th minute of play. Rein Kahest made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Martti Kingisepp sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Pärnu Lihtsad FC's Rein Kahest got control of the ball when Martti Kingisepp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Mark Kevad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein Kahest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rein Kahest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aivo Lossmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Aivo Lossmann took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rein Kahest. Rein Kahest dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. There was no doubt that FC Halte were the better team. FC Halte's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
