The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andres Veeru got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Andres Veeru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Sakala's Adolf Üits in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Levadia Tallinn's goalie prevented a goal. Kaljo Kree showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolf Üits in the 7th minute of the match. Rauno Hütt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rauno Hütt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaljo Kree read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Volli Uusmaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Sakala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Levadia Tallinn the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Sakala's Volli Uusmaa got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Andres Veeru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ainar Talviste. FC Sakala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Veeru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Volli Enkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ainar Talviste. Volli Enkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Adolf Üits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Adolf Üits managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sakala's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolf Üits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaljo Kree breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Ago Nõmmeots elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kaljo Kree showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolf Üits in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, FC Levadia Tallinn's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Üits came free, but Kaljo Kree reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Sakala booed when FC Levadia Tallinn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaspar Karm didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adolf Üits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Levadia Tallinn's Kaljo Kree played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Üits in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolf Üits to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolf Üits in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaljo Kree prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaljo Kree made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Adolf Üits sent off a good shot on target. FC Sakala's Adolf Üits got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ago Nõmmeots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaljo Kree having to interfere. In the 61st minute Volli Enkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ainar Talviste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, FC Levadia Tallinn's Andres Veeru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ainar Talviste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, FC Levadia Tallinn's Volli Enkvist made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ainar Talviste was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Levadia Tallinn's Kaljo Kree played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauno Hütt in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, FC Sakala's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Veeru came free, but Ainar Talviste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaspar Karm's late challenge caught a FC Sakala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaspar Karm helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Levadia Tallinn's Kaspar Karm got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Eedi Ani charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eedi Ani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 3-2 became the score in the 76th minute when Rauno Hütt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, FC Levadia Tallinn's goalkeeper Kaljo Kree had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolf Üits. If Rauno Hütt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaljo Kree showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolf Üits in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, FC Levadia Tallinn's goalkeeper Kaljo Kree had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolf Üits. Rauno Hütt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kaljo Kree tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ago Nõmmeots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rauno Hütt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaljo Kree having to interfere. Many of FC Sakala's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Sakala may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Levadia Tallinn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
