Spectators: 7757 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 60) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adolf Üits kicked off to start the match. Neeme Mihklimäe made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Sakala's Juss Joamets. Taimo Lasn hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Adolf Üits has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 7th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ago Nõmmeots got free with Rein Kahest in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FC Sakala's Juss Joamets got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Rauno Hütt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sakala's supporters rose to their feet, but Rauno Hütt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rein Kahest breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, FC Sakala's Adolf Üits sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rein Kahest narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rein Kahest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolf Üits in the 16th minute of play. Andrus Pilvistu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrus Pilvistu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Andrus Pilvistu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rauno Hütt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rein Kahest having to interfere. After 19 played minutes FC Sakala got a freekick which was hit by Aivar Palk. Adolf Üitss short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Rein Kahest to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Andrus Pilvistu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rein Kahest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juss Joamets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Arni Ummelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rein Kahest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rauno Hütt in the 36th minute of the match. Rein Kahest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juss Joamets in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juss Joamets in the 39th minute of play forced Pärnu Lihtsad FC's goalkeeper Rein Kahest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ago Nõmmeots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolf Üits struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rein Kahest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sakala. 48 minutes into the match, Pärnu Lihtsad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Üits came free, but Rein Kahest reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvin Ridal made a kick off. Silver Kupits's late challenge caught a FC Sakala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silver Kupits helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Pärnu Lihtsad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silver Kupits to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pärnu Lihtsad FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Andrus Pilvistu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ago Nõmmeots in the 54th minute of play forced Pärnu Lihtsad FC's goalkeeper Rein Kahest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Juss Joamets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein Kahest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Neeme Mihklimäe fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pärnu Lihtsad FC's protests and gave Neeme Mihklimäe a yellow card for diving instead. Pärnu Lihtsad FC's Rein Kahest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Üits in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Pärnu Lihtsad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Üits came free, but Rein Kahest reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Sakala players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
