In the 9th minute, Allar Kork got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allar Kork charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allar Kork the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC heistesoo united booed when FC Põhja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allar Kork didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC heistesoo united's goalkeeper August Lossimäe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, FC Põhja's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Narusk came free, but Priit Emane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Niilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jakob Niilo sped through FC heistesoo united's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of August Lossimäe. In the 25th minute of the match Robert Muusik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but August Lossimäe skillfully saved the ball. Priit Emane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Narusk in the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Raul Narusk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Põhja's zone, Raul Narusk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Priit Emane came out of the goal and Raul Narusk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Madis Kottise sped through FC heistesoo united's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of August Lossimäe. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madis Kottise to strike the kick off in the second half. When Madis Kottise fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Põhja's protests and gave Madis Kottise a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, FC Põhja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madis Kottise to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC heistesoo united's August Lossimäe got control of the ball when Allar Kork tried to sneak it across the goal line. Priit Emane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Narusk in the 73rd minute of the match. The FC heistesoo united fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when FC heistesoo united's Raul Narusk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jakob Niilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Lossimäe having to interfere. Madis Kottise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Madis Kottise managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Põhja's supporters rose to their feet, but Madis Kottise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Lossimäe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg August Lossimäe managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when FC Põhja's Madis Kottise fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eduard Naer hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Raul Narusk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Priit Emane having to make a save. In the 88thth minute of the game Raul Narusk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Põhja's Priit Emane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Madis Kottise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Lossimäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
