Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Narusk in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivari Viilup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vambola Roovik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivari Viilup having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Kergatsi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vambola Roovik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 59th minute Raul Narusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivari Viilup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vambola Roovik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivari Viilup was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 92 played minutes, Kergatsi's Hugo Eelmets shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper August Lossimäe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kergatsi reached it.
