Priit Emane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Paha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Põhja were furious when Robert Muusik was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Põhja fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute Õnne 11 were awarded a corner. Kristofer Ilvik went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Õnne 11's Jüri Ratassepp got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jüri Ratassepp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Priit Emane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jüri Ratassepp might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Priit Emane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jüri Ratassepp ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th match minute, Õnne 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Haas to maneuver through the defense. Allar Kork fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Kent having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Õnne 11 got a freekick which was hit by Usub Jesus. When Õnne 11's Tom Lossimäe in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Põhja's goalie prevented a goal. Priit Emane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Lossimäe's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Tom Paha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Priit Emane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Roland Liiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Priit Emane came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Õnne 11's Jüri Ratassepp. But to his dismay, Jüri Ratassepp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Paha made a kick off. When Õnne 11's Jüri Ratassepp, in the 51st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Õnne 11. In the 53rd minute Jüri Ratassepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Priit Emane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madis Kottise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Madis Kottise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Kent having to interfere. Allar Kork hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Madis Kottise got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jüri Ratassepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Paha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Priit Emane having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Allar Kork managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Põhja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allar Kork was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Usub Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jüri Ratassepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Madis Kottise who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Clark Kent when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madis Kottise during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Madis Kottise kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Priit Emane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Paha in the 93rd minute of play. FC Põhja's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
