In the 3rd minute of the match Armin Albin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Virunurm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uudo Vabamüürlane in the 4th minute of play forced FS Viruvere's goalkeeper Taavi Mäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC VIIMSI SMS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uudo Vabamüürlane in the 5th minute. FS Viruvere's Taavi Mäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uudo Vabamüürlane in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Urmo Verk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Valdek Helm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uudo Vabamüürlane in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taavi Mäe saved FS Viruvere from getting behind. Uudo Vabamüürlane struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Taavi Mäe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC VIIMSI SMS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uudo Vabamüürlane in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taavi Mäe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sander Pärt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Urmo Verk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urmo Verk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Taavi Mäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Uudo Vabamüürlane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taavi Mäe was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Urmas Mäe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Taavi Mäe came out and tried to block the shot, but Urmas Mäe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, FS Viruvere's Eero Mäetaguse got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a little luck, FS Viruvere's Taavi Mäe got control of the ball when Urmas Mäe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 minutes FS Viruvere's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Uudo Vabamüürlane who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC VIIMSI SMS's corner Uudo Vabamüürlane fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Taavi Mäe quite easily take care of the ball. Taavi Mäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uudo Vabamüürlane in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uudo Vabamüürlane in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taavi Mäe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sander Pärt kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Eino Ööbik fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FS Viruvere's protests and gave Eino Ööbik a yellow card for diving instead. 81 minutes into the game, one of FS Viruvere:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urmas Mäe in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taavi Mäe saved FS Viruvere from getting behind. Taavi Mäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, FS Viruvere's goal looked a bit too open when Urmas Mäe came free, but Taavi Mäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC VIIMSI SMS played a much better game than FS Viruvere and deserved their victory. The FS Viruvere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
