The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Võru FC Helios getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ilmar Vaher hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Võru FC Helios's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Koov came free, but Emil Nõumees reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kotikud were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Võru FC Helios's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elari Etii took the corner. After 17 played minutes FC Kotikud got a freekick which was hit by Maarek Teras. In the 19th minute, Eiko Tihkan made a precise shot to the right of Ernst Alt. FC Kotikud's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 22 minutes of play, Võru FC Helios's Sten Kadajas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernst Alt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, FC Kotikud's goal looked a bit too open when Janar Kallis came free, but Ernst Alt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 蔡傲松's late challenge caught a Võru FC Helios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 蔡傲松 helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes FC Kotikud got a freekick which was hit by 蔡傲松. Thomas Richters hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Janar Kallis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernst Alt. The goal made the score 3-0. Ernst Alt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janar Kallis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of FC Kotikud:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Võru FC Helios:s goal. Ernst Alt was a little too slow when Sten Kadajas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakob Koov was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 蔡傲松 in the 53rd minute of play forced Võru FC Helios's goalkeeper Emil Nõumees to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Võru FC Helios's zone, 蔡傲松 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Nõumees came out of the goal and 蔡傲松 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Võru FC Helios's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Koov came free, but Emil Nõumees reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elari Etii made a great header on FC Kotikud's corner, it was just that Võru FC Helios's Emil Nõumees managed to reach the ball for a save. 蔡傲松 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Hubert Käärt notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of FC Kotikud's Ernst Alt. Ernst Alt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the game, Võru FC Helios's Sten Kadajas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernst Alt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Ernst Alt came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Võru FC Helios's Janar Kallis. But to his dismay, Janar Kallis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Jakob Koov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Nõumees having to interfere. Ernst Alt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Kadajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Käärt in the 86th minute of play forced FC Kotikud's goalkeeper Ernst Alt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Jakob Koov lined in a short shot 8-2 behind a frustrated Emil Nõumees.
