In the 8th minute Priidik Haas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Heido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaanek Lehtmets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volli Noorsalu in the 12th minute of play forced Hiiumaa Soccer Academy's goalkeeper Tarmo Koop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Hiiumaa Soccer Academy's Tarmo Koop got control of the ball when Ainar Näkk tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jaanek Lehtmets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Heido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaanek Lehtmets in the 27th minute of the match. Dan Heido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaanek Lehtmets's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Maido Lipso charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maido Lipso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. JK Piila's Dan Heido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaanek Lehtmets in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Volli Noorsalu to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Volli Noorsalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarmo Koop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hiiumaa Soccer Academy booed when JK Piila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Innar Laud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Heido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaanek Lehtmets in the 60th minute of play. Edvard Rüütel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Tarmo Koop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ainar Näkk in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, JK Piila's goalkeeper Dan Heido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Priidik Haas. In the 69thth minute of the game Jaanek Lehtmets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Piila's Dan Heido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in JK Piila's zone, Jaanek Lehtmets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Heido came out of the goal and Jaanek Lehtmets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Priidik Haas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Heido having to interfere. Kusti Vabadus hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Priidik Haas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Heido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaanek Lehtmets, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Jaanek Lehtmets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The JK Piila players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
