Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Jõeäär ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tarmo Kaljumäe fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hiiumaa Soccer Academy's protests and gave Tarmo Kaljumäe a yellow card for diving instead. 6 minutes into the game, one of Hiiumaa Soccer Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute, Oklahomo City Blunder's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaanek Lehtmets fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roland Lant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarmo Koop having to interfere. Jaagup Elts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Priidik Haas charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Priidik Haas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Priidik Haas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Aapo Nestra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaanek Lehtmets showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. If Jaanek Lehtmets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaanek Lehtmets to make the kick off. Jaagup Elts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tarmo Koop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
