Raido Kadastu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute of the match Jakob Pregel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ailar Kosemaa skillfully saved the ball. Raido Kadastu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veiko Aruväli in the 19th minute of play. Ailar Kosemaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Äkke in the 23rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Pregel couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Rosentali JK defense, Evert Äkke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ailar Kosemaa. The Rosentali JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ailar Kosemaa should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

51 minutes into the game, FC JAHUT's Kunnar Käps nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ailar Kosemaa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, FC JAHUT's Janar Nõgel got a free kick in the 54th minute. Evert Äkke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailar Kosemaa having to interfere. FC JAHUT's Evert Äkke got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Aabel Nõukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Evert Äkke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute.
