The Asso Aun was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tauno Imelik struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Asso Aun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC JAHUT. After 9 played minutes Mustel FS got a freekick which was hit by Voldemar Rannus. Asso Aun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kunnar Käps, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Ralf Hull had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raido Kadastu. FC JAHUT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralf Hull was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Raido Kadastu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Kalinin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raido Kadastu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helger Pajuste in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, FC JAHUT's goalkeeper Raido Kadastu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Hull. If Evert Äkke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, FC JAHUT's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Kalinin came free, but Raido Kadastu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Mustel FS's Ralf Hull ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raido Kadastu. Raido Kadastu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, FC JAHUT's Evert Äkke got a free kick in the 34th minute. Raido Kadastu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Kalinin in the 41st minute of the match. Evert Äkke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asso Aun having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Mustel FS got a freekick which was hit by Voldemar Rannus. Kunnar Käps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Asso Aun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Kalinin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Kaijo Kütt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evert Äkke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asso Aun having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Mustel FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Voldemar Rannus to maneuver through the defense. Mait Olt made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC JAHUT's Jakob Pregel. With 68 minutes on the clock, Erni Kannisto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of FC JAHUT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mustel FS:s goal. Raido Kadastu had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Kalev Raudsaar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 71 minutes, Kaijo Kütt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC JAHUT and the Mustel FS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Kaijo Kütt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mustel FS's zone, Kaijo Kütt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asso Aun came out of the goal and Kaijo Kütt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kunnar Käps came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC JAHUT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kunnar Käps couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Kunnar Käps got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tauno Imelik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Asso Aun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Mustel FS got a freekick which was hit by Vallo Ojaperv. After having played for 98 minutes, Kunnar Käps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC JAHUT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kunnar Käps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mustel FS could leave the field as winners, despite FC JAHUT having more of the ball for most of the match.
