The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kardo Saare in the 3rd minute of play forced Holsten's goalkeeper Mehdi De Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urmo Vahing charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urmo Vahing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Urmo Vahing hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Holsten's goalkeeper Mehdi De Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Vidal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernani Vidal in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehdi De Carvalho saved Holsten from getting behind. Mehdi De Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kardo Saare in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yuminda defense, Adam Zbagan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Väino Aguraiuja. The Yuminda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Väino Aguraiuja should have stopped the shot. After 15 played minutes Holsten got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Palanques. Mehdi De Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kardo Saare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Holsten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederick Palanques to maneuver through the defense. Uku Virmaline was slow to take the kick. During this time Holsten's players had a chance to rest. Uku Virmaline made a great header on Holsten's corner, it was just that Yuminda's Väino Aguraiuja managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Holsten booed when Yuminda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Høgstrup didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holsten's Mehdi De Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kardo Saare in the 33rd minute of play. Mehdi De Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Holsten defense, Toomas Kaarna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehdi De Carvalho. The Holsten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehdi De Carvalho should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Wojtyna in the 78th minute of play forced Holsten's goalkeeper Mehdi De Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Mihkel Makélélé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Ziemowit Wojtyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi De Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehdi De Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Wojtyna in the 97th minute of the match. Yuminda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
