The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, JK Baste Kogimyae's Mairo Tihumets dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Drunken Sea Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Tänav to maneuver through the defense. Virgo Vellend's shot from long distance in the 6th minute was not bad at all, but Drunken Sea Monkeys's Joonas Järve knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Joonas Järve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mairo Tihumets in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, JK Baste Kogimyae's Mairo Tihumets dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Joonas Järve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mairo Tihumets in the 25th minute of play. Joonas Järve was a little too slow when Mairo Tihumets got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, Enar Uudekülg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joonas Järve. Drunken Sea Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enar Uudekülg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mairo Tihumets in the 34th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Joonas Järve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Drunken Sea Monkeys's Joonas Järve got control of the ball when Maido Vaarandi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joonas Järve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mairo Tihumets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enar Uudekülg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Joonas Järve made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ken Tänav during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Mairo Tihumets made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Mairo Tihumets came free, but Joonas Järve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Virgo Vellend came free, but Joonas Järve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joonas Järve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the game, JK Baste Kogimyae's Mairo Tihumets nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joonas Järve made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After a defensive mix-up in JK Baste Kogimyae's zone, Viljar Niidumaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rando Vahtre came out of the goal and Viljar Niidumaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Viljar Niidumaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rando Vahtre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joonas Järve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maido Vaarandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Illimar Kullamaa hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. JK Baste Kogimyae's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
