Mairo Tihumets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC MatriX getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kalle Kaldur hit a great ball. Virgo Vellend hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rando Vahtre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reino Nöps, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rando Vahtre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reino Nöps in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match JK Baste Kogimyae got a corner. FC MatriX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgo Vellend ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38th match minute, FC MatriX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Jüriöö to maneuver through the defense. If Mairo Tihumets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC MatriX's Eerik Rannik got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 48 played minutes, JK Baste Kogimyae's Virgo Vellend shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tavo Lehtmäe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JK Baste Kogimyae reached it.

JK Baste Kogimyae were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after FC MatriX's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgo Vellend took the corner. The corner ended in Virgo Vellend almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC MatriX's Tavo Lehtmäe did a great save. The supporters of JK Baste Kogimyae booed when FC MatriX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ervin Aher didn't get a good kick on the ball. JK Baste Kogimyae were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after FC MatriX's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgo Vellend took the corner. The corner led JK Baste Kogimyae's Virgo Vellend to fire away a dangerous shot which Tavo Lehtmäe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Mairo Tihumets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MatriX's Tavo Lehtmäe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes FC MatriX got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Rajamäe. Tavo Lehtmäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgo Vellend in the 67th minute of play. JK Baste Kogimyae's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC MatriX the free kick. Pavel Kaar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Mairo Tihumets came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the JK Baste Kogimyae fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mairo Tihumets couldn't finish the play. Rando Vahtre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Reino Nöps notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of JK Baste Kogimyae's Rando Vahtre. Rando Vahtre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of JK Baste Kogimyae's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. JK Baste Kogimyae may have spent more time on the ball, but FC MatriX were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
