After 6 played minutes Kerguta JK got a freekick which was hit by Mait Korjus. Iordache Chițu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordache Chițu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kerguta JK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Iordache Chițu hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Kerguta JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miroslav Santamaria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evander Vester got free with Jairo Elixio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Vi Improved getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Miroslav Santamaria hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Käps in the 18th minute of play forced Vi Improved's goalkeeper Aurelio Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Elixio came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Vi Improved's Miroslav Santamaria. But to his dismay, Miroslav Santamaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Miroslav Santamaria was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Vi Improved's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 28 played minutes Vi Improved got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Mumuleanu. After 29 minutes of play, Kerguta JK's Jann Annast made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Theodore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jairo Elixio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslav Santamaria in the 33rd minute. Jairo Elixio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Augusto de Barros went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Vi Improved's Jairo Elixio threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vasile Mumuleanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jairo Elixio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslav Santamaria in the 45th minute. Vi Improved's Aurelio Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Käps in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miroslav Santamaria to strike the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jairo Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Kerguta JK's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Santamaria came free, but Jairo Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmar Käps blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Theodore having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmar Pilvistu during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64thth minute of the game Jann Annast who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vi Improved's Aurelio Theodore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vi Improved's goalkeeper Aurelio Theodore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Vasile Mumuleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evander Vester in the 72nd minute of play. Jairo Elixio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslav Santamaria's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 77 minutes Kerguta JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evander Vester who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Kerguta JK's Iordache Chițu got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jairo Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Santamaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Kerguta JK's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto de Barros came free, but Jairo Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anastasio Erdiano fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vi Improved's protests and gave Anastasio Erdiano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Vi Improved was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. When Vi Improved's Miroslav Santamaria in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kerguta JK's goalie prevented a goal.
