The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lin Shi Qing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Burnley FC's Eerik Nigula got a free kick in the 12th minute. Victorino Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lin Shi Qing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, JK Sultan's goalkeeper Jürgen Muruaas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Zacharzewski. Lin Shi Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Karl Arenius made the kick off in the second half. Trayko Gradinarski's late challenge caught a JK Sultan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trayko Gradinarski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of JK Sultan booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trayko Gradinarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Zacharzewski in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jürgen Muruaas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Burnley FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kaupo Jänes hit a great ball. After 73 minutes, Kaspar Kungla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnley FC and the JK Sultan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Burnley FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaspar Kungla. 75 minutes into the game, Kaupo Jänes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burnley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Sultan the free kick. Kaupo Jänes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The Burnley FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
