Valga 1860's Urmo Tali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Liman in the 4th minute of play. If Pawel Liman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 11 minutes, Kristofer Intel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Type O Negative and the Valga 1860 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Type O Negative's Kristofer Intel got a free kick in the 11th minute. Margus Hanson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. José Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Muruaas in the 15th minute of play. Sander Vilbaste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristofer Intel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Vladimir Lenin in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Type O Negative's Sander Vilbaste. Pawel Liman charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawel Liman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pawel Liman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Endel Vanamets put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Luis Chilavert. Urmo Tali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Liman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Vaarandi during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Valga 1860 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dan Vaarandi hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pawel Liman made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Alvar Muruaas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Type O Negative's Sander Vilbaste quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vladimir Lenin, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Rait Aruniit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Luis Chilavert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kuuno Ülipikk went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Type O Negative's José Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rein Tamberg in the 80th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Pawel Liman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Tamberg in the 93rd minute of the match. Sander Leinapaju's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Urmo Tali firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Valga 1860 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
