Spectators: 8522 (Terracing: 6392, Seating: 1960, VIP seats: 170) Kogimyae JK's Henri Villem started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Endel Vanamets got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lennart Merioja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ivar Algaja kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Lennart Merioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein Tamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valga 1860's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvar Muruaas in the 13th minute. The corner led Valga 1860's Rein Tamberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Lennart Merioja despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Endel Vanamets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Lennart Merioja made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvar Muruaas got free with Lennart Merioja in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes Kogimyae JK got a freekick which was hit by Ago Erikson. Gabriel Koop took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennart Merioja. Lennart Merioja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olari Raudsoo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Kogimyae JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olari Raudsoo to maneuver through the defense. Endel Vanamets's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lennart Merioja firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leopold Eit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmo Tali having to interfere. In the 36th minute Rein Tamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Merioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Valga 1860's Endel Vanamets slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lennart Merioja. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. Lennart Merioja came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Valga 1860's Alvar Muruaas. But to his dismay, Alvar Muruaas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Endel Vanamets to strike the kick off in the second half. Lennart Merioja came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Valga 1860's Endel Vanamets. But to his dismay, Endel Vanamets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 57 minutes into the match, Kogimyae JK's goal looked a bit too open when Endel Vanamets came free, but Lennart Merioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Tamberg in the 59th minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Lennart Merioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Valga 1860's Gabriel Koop nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennart Merioja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Lennart Merioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein Tamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Merioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Koop, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Muruaas in the 69th minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Lennart Merioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kogimyae JK's Ilmar Veenpere got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Olavi Lainevoog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, Kogimyae JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ago Erikson to maneuver through the defense. Urmo Tali made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Henri Villem sent off a good shot on target. Rein Tamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Endel Vanamets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Valga 1860 were the better team. Valga 1860's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
