But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tauno Suslik couldn't finish the play. After the first half Type O Negative were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Haupt to strike the kick off in the second half. José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Haupt in the 55th minute of the match. Type O Negative made a substitution. Aadu Lehismets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarvi Vaher having to interfere. Tarvi Vaher made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tauno Suslik sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Kõpu Dynamo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tauno Suslik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Type O Negative walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
