Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ahja from getting a goal against them. With 6 minutes on the clock, Luis Alberto Spinetta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, FC Minerva Tallinn's Luis Alberto Spinetta got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Angelino Jolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taniel Maasar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Club Ahja booed when FC Minerva Tallinn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ats Jaani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avraam Iasonidis was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Ray Sotelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ray Sotelo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Sandro Bullock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taniel Maasar. FC Minerva Tallinn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Bullock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Avraam Iasonidis made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Lauri Niit sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, FC Minerva Tallinn's Lauri Niit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Ray Sotelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avraam Iasonidis having to interfere. Avraam Iasonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Sotelo in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ray Sotelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Minerva Tallinn's supporters rose to their feet, but Ray Sotelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avraam Iasonidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Avraam Iasonidis managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when FC Minerva Tallinn's Lauri Niit fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Avraam Iasonidis was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Lauri Niit capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lauri Niit really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. In the 48th minute Angelino Jolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taniel Maasar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauri Niit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Lauri Niit came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Minerva Tallinn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauri Niit couldn't finish the play. FC Minerva Tallinn's Taniel Maasar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save FC Minerva Tallinn from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, FC Minerva Tallinn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Vaarandi to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Club Ahja's Sandro Bullock dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Avraam Iasonidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauri Niit in the 72nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauri Niit in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avraam Iasonidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th match minute, Club Ahja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Jolin to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Ahja! Avraam Iasonidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Sotelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Sandro Bullock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, FC Minerva Tallinn's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Jolin came free, but Taniel Maasar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Angelino Jolin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Taniel Maasar. That made the score 4-4 in the 90 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Kuido Joala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taniel Maasar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. The FC Minerva Tallinn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Ahja were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
