The crowd rose to their feet as Vardi JK's Kalmer Lips slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Villu Ettur. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ott Jusson in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vardi JK's Gerd Pukk. In the 21st minute, Kalmer Lips hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peep Ojasaar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, JK Katleri Välk's Ott Jusson got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30th match minute, Vardi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Käbin to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Vardi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kunnar Haas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noriega Almarza was the one to do the kick off. Peep Ojasaar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Pearu Müür sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and JK Katleri Välk's Villu Ettur didn't even have to move. If Roomet Mari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kunnar Haas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ivo Viilup took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Villu Ettur. JK Katleri Välk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kalmer Lips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vardi JK's Argo Aug was substituted for Gabriel Riis. Kalmer Lips blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villu Ettur having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Ain Saidla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 90 minutes on the clock, Ain Saidla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vardi JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Vardi JK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ivo Viilup hit a great ball.
