In the 18th minute, Harri Nurmsalu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Kalev Pärnu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Philipp Ternes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavi Kapsi in the 22nd minute of play. Illimar Sulg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Robert Ojamäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, FC Hugo's Taavi Kapsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philipp Ternes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC Hugo booed when SK Kalev Pärnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Jelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rauno Haab was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rauno Haab in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Illimar Sulg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52nd match minute, FC Hugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taavi Kapsi to maneuver through the defense. Philipp Ternes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taavi Kapsi in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Rauno Haab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hugo's Illimar Sulg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Taavi Kapsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hugo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taavi Kapsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SK Kalev Pärnu's Nildo Mendonça was substituted for Härmo Aader. A collision led to FC Hugo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Taavi Kapsi hit a great ball. Timo Vismann hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. SK Kalev Pärnu's Janno Trump was substituted for Zlatan Videlov. After 71 played minutes FC Hugo got a freekick which was hit by Timo Vismann. In the 72nd minute, Mustafa Hakan Dursunali sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Hugo's Illimar Sulg didn't even have to move. Harri Nurmsalu charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harri Nurmsalu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SK Kalev Pärnu's Harri Nurmsalu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riivo Paat in the 76th minute of play forced SK Kalev Pärnu's goalkeeper Philipp Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Ojamäe's late challenge caught a SK Kalev Pärnu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Ojamäe helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes FC Hugo got a freekick which was hit by Robert Ojamäe. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradon Grant got free with Illimar Sulg in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Ojamäe in the 81st minute of play forced SK Kalev Pärnu's goalkeeper Philipp Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Illimar Sulg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rauno Haab showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 83 minute of play. Rauno Haab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Hugo's Robert Ojamäe got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Although FC Hugo had been in control for most of the match, SK Kalev Pärnu still came away with the win.
