Albert Raidur hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Bongi Patrull's Casper Sjöberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Casper Sjöberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bongi Patrull protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Casper Sjöberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Igor Dovgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harri Nurmsalu went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rauno Haab made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Martti Landi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bongi Patrull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martti Landi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Dovgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatan Videlov's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Igor Dovgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rauno Haab in the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rauno Haab in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Dovgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Andris Looga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Dovgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rauno Haab's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Rauno Haab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Dovgan was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Bongi Patrull's Igor Dovgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauno Haab in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of SK Kalev Pärnu booed when Bongi Patrull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andris Looga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janno Trump hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. SK Kalev Pärnu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
