Riivo Paats short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Andro Eiber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19th minute, Andro Mahlaoks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Põltsamaa Põllumehed got a freekick which was hit by Andro Mahlaoks. A collision led to Põltsamaa Põllumehed getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Vambola Raidla hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Põltsamaa Põllumehed's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Emapoeg came free, but Andro Eiber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Paavo Peet sped through Põltsamaa Põllumehed's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andro Eiber. After a defensive mix-up in Põltsamaa Põllumehed's zone, Paavo Peet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andro Eiber came out of the goal and Paavo Peet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taavi Kapsi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Andro Eiber made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Jakob Kari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hugo the free kick. Jakob Kari kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Põltsamaa Põllumehed's zone, Riivo Paat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andro Eiber came out of the goal and Riivo Paat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Põltsamaa Põllumehed's goalkeeper Andro Eiber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paavo Peet. After 44 minutes, Andre Ülavere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hugo and the Põltsamaa Põllumehed players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Põltsamaa Põllumehed booed when FC Hugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Ülavere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taavi Kapsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sander Seitse made a kick off. In the 54th minute Paavo Peet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andro Eiber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taavi Kapsi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andro Eiber. Andro Eiber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Taimo Mäe hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes of play Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Vambola Raidla was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 62nd minute, one of Põltsamaa Põllumehed:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Põltsamaa Põllumehed. After some careless play in the Põltsamaa Põllumehed defense, Taavi Kapsi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andro Eiber. The Põltsamaa Põllumehed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andro Eiber should have stopped the shot. After having played for 70 minutes, Paavo Peet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hugo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paavo Peet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Põltsamaa Põllumehed's zone, Andre Emapoeg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andro Eiber came out of the goal and Andre Emapoeg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andro Eiber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taavi Kapsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 79 minutes Põltsamaa Põllumehed's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andre Emapoeg who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC Hugo's Riivo Paat getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC Hugo's Andre Emapoeg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vallo Krooni, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Robert Ojamäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andro Eiber having to interfere. Andro Eiber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Ojamäe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Robert Ojamäe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Andro Eiber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riivo Paat in the 92nd minute of play forced Põltsamaa Põllumehed's goalkeeper Andro Eiber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taavi Kapsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Hugo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
