Kiur Nestra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Risto Raudsoo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvin Pottsepp, 1-1. FC Kaevussaare's Alvin Pottsepp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kaevussaare from getting a goal against them. After having played for 16 minutes, Risto Raudsoo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Soodaa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Risto Raudsoo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Risto Raudsoo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvin Pottsepp. That made the score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. Üllar Tooma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Risto Raudsoo might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvin Pottsepp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Risto Raudsoo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 25 minutes, Lauri Ahnus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Soodaa and the FC Kaevussaare players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Soodaa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Kiur Nestra had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Kevin Raie's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Risto Raudsoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, FC Soodaa's Eero Seen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvin Pottsepp. Alvin Pottsepp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Enno Lepik's late challenge caught a FC Soodaa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enno Lepik helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Kaevussaare getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Enno Lepik hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reino Talu to strike the kick off in the second half. Aksel Lutter's late challenge caught a FC Soodaa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aksel Lutter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Soodaa booed when FC Kaevussaare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aksel Lutter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vello Roht kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, FC Kaevussaare's goal looked a bit too open when Risto Raudsoo came free, but Alvin Pottsepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvin Pottsepp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Risto Raudsoo in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reino Talu in the 81st minute of play forced FC Soodaa's goalkeeper Kiur Nestra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Risto Raudsoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Pottsepp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of FC Kaevussaare:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Soodaa:s goal. Alvin Pottsepp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Risto Raudsoo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Risto Raudsoo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Soodaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Risto Raudsoo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvin Pottsepp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Kaevussaare's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
