Aare Järve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Loorits in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes of play, FC Kopli's Elmar Loorits made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aare Järve was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aare Järve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Loorits in the 11th minute of play. Elmar Loorits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aare Järve having to interfere. When FC Kopli's Elmar Loorits in 27 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Aare Järve guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 29th minute Elmar Loorits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aare Järve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Vambola Asjalik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Elmar Loorits came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Kopli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmar Loorits couldn't finish the play. Joakim Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Priidu Raasuke in the 33rd minute of play. Aare Järve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmar Loorits's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The FC Kopli fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when FC Kopli's Elmar Loorits looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 40th minute, Enar Aavakivi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alari Lapp hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elmar Loorits was the one to do the kick off. Elmar Loorits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Aare Järve made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Elmar Loorits got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Madis Ratas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, viljandi Minevik's Vambola Asjalik got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Elmar Loorits got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aare Järve was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elmar Loorits might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aare Järve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elmar Loorits ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, viljandi Minevik's Aare Järve got control of the ball when Enar Aavakivi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 played minutes viljandi Minevik got a freekick which was hit by Alari Lapp. viljandi Minevik's Aare Järve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save viljandi Minevik from getting a goal against them. If Madis Ratas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elmar Loorits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aare Järve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match, Madis Ratas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aare Järve saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 81st play minute Madis Ratas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aare Järve. 0-3. Elmar Loorits got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-4 in the right cross in the 84th match minute before Aare Järve had time to react. Aare Järve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmar Loorits's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Aare Järve was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Elmar Loorits capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elmar Loorits really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Aare Järve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Loorits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Elmar Loorits dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aare Järve, 0-6. When the match was over FC Kopli could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than viljandi Minevik throughout the match.
