When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Merlin Sweeney put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kevin Naaskel. Kevin Naaskel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Potopea in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match BSC Thunder Arvutitark got a corner. Peningi Spartak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Vítor Salles ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led BSC Thunder Arvutitark's João Vítor Salles to fire away a dangerous shot which Kevin Naaskel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The BSC Thunder Arvutitark fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Merlin Sweeney looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kevin Naaskel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merlin Sweeney's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Kevin Naaskel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Vítor Salles went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute Merlin Sweeney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Naaskel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Merlin Sweeney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Merlin Sweeney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Naaskel having to make a save. Merlin Sweeney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Naaskel having to interfere. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Merlin Sweeney got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peningi Spartak's Kevin Naaskel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robi Kund in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Peningi Spartak's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Sweeney came free, but Kevin Naaskel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merlin Sweeney was the one to do the kick off. Kevin Naaskel stood somewhat misplaced when Merlin Sweeney came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 56 minute. BSC Thunder Arvutitark made a substitution. Mati Ridal replaced Robi Kund. Merlin Sweeney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Kevin Naaskel made a huge save. Merlin Sweeney received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kevin Naaskel came out and tried to block the shot, but Merlin Sweeney slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 67th minute. If Merlin Sweeney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Merlin Sweeney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kevin Naaskel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Potopea, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Robben Vounckx managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Peningi Spartak's Kevin Naaskel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Peningi Spartak from getting a goal against them. In the 79thth minute of the game Merlin Sweeney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peningi Spartak's Kevin Naaskel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Peningi Spartak's Kevin Naaskel got control of the ball when Merlin Sweeney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Naaskel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Potopea in the 82nd minute. Merlin Sweeney had several of the Peningi Spartak's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Kevin Naaskel as he didn't even see the shot coming. João Vítor Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merlin Sweeney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Naaskel having to interfere. When the match was over BSC Thunder Arvutitark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Peningi Spartak throughout the match.
