In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dune's goalkeeper Helger Jaas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Helger Jaas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Härmo Redi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to Dune getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bruno Kann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Härmo Redi in the 17th minute of play forced Dune's goalkeeper Helger Jaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helger Jaas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Kupits stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Rolland Sallai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dune's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolland Sallai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eero Treial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Mailat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Dune were awarded a corner. Rolland Sallai went to the cornerflag to take it. Rolland Sallai hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaur Vaasna in the 64th minute of play forced Dune's goalkeeper Helger Jaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Härmo Redi made a precise shot to the right of Helger Jaas. Dune's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 73 minutes into the match, JK Koljala's goalkeeper Eero Treial had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ainar Ütt. The supporters of Dune booed when JK Koljala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sepo Aal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bogdan Mailat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolland Sallai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Eero Treial made a huge save. Eero Treial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Mailat, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. JK Koljala made a substitution. Janari Õunapuu replaced Edvard Kupits. After 83 minutes JK Koljala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rolland Sallai who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Dune's corner Polat Adar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eero Treial quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Dune's goal looked a bit too open when Härmo Redi came free, but Helger Jaas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helger Jaas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janari Õunapuu in the 92nd minute of play. Bogdan Mailat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Treial having to interfere. Dune's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
