Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaur Vaasna in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Kalamees prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mardu FS's Ernst Kalamees played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaur Vaasna in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mardu FS's goal looked a bit too open when Kaur Vaasna came free, but Ernst Kalamees reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kaur Vaasna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Kalamees made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaur Vaasna in the 19th minute of play. Eero Treial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaimo Uni in the 21st minute of play. Kaur Vaasna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute of the match, Kaimo Uni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eero Treial saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Edvard Kupits came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the JK Koljala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvard Kupits couldn't finish the play. Ernst Kalamees showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaur Vaasna, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Kupits stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. JK Koljala's Edvard Kupits got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvard Kupits's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Ernst Kalamees skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The corner led JK Koljala's Edvard Kupits to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernst Kalamees despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eero Treial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rauno Toom, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaur Vaasna in the 65th minute of play forced Mardu FS's goalkeeper Ernst Kalamees to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valmar Univer hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. JK Koljala made a substitution. Jan Rääk replaced Jaanus Lokko. JK Koljala's Kuno Viru was substituted for Kaur Vaasna. The supporters of JK Koljala booed when Mardu FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valmar Univer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvard Kupits might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernst Kalamees. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvard Kupits ran back to his position shaking his head. Kuno Viru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernst Kalamees came out and tried to block the shot, but Kuno Viru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 70th minute. Ernst Kalamees made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Kupits in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, JK Koljala's Härmo Redi got a free kick in the 78th minute. JK Koljala made a substitution. Janari Õunapuu replaced Edvard Kupits. In the 82nd minute Kuno Viru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Kalamees saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in JK Koljala's zone, Kaimo Uni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eero Treial came out of the goal and Kaimo Uni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernst Kalamees showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuno Viru in the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mardu FS's zone, Kuno Viru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernst Kalamees came out of the goal and Kuno Viru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tauri Kaljo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Kuno Viru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Mardu FS's Ernst Kalamees got control of the ball when Kuno Viru tried to sneak it across the goal line. JK Koljala's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
