The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvin Viru might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olle Casillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvin Viru ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's goalkeeper Zé Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aytuğ Çağa. After a defensive mix-up in FC Goodfellas's zone, Aytuğ Çağa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Galvão came out of the goal and Aytuğ Çağa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fluffy White Bunnies fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Dino Grilli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Galvão. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. FC Goodfellas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aytuğ Çağa 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Aytuğ Çağa might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aytuğ Çağa ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytuğ Çağa in the 30th minute of the match. If Aytuğ Çağa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Fluffy White Bunnies's Aytuğ Çağa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Galvão. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Fluffy White Bunnies's Zé Galvão threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dino Grilli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zé Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dino Grilli's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Alvin Viru hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Olle Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Felix, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Aytuğ Çağas short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Zé Galvão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Fluffy White Bunnies made a substitution. Bogumil Biskupiak replaced Aytuğ Çağa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Viru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Dino Grilli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olle Casillas made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Alvin Viru sent off a good shot on target. Zé Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Grilli in the 62nd minute of play.
