Agis Tsiaris charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agis Tsiaris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ANORTHOSIS FAMAGUSTA's Nicias Petrakos got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that 林希夕's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaggelis Bertsimas was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. There was no doubt that ANORTHOSIS FAMAGUSTA were the better team. ANORTHOSIS FAMAGUSTA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
