Kerkyon Gianakopulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Likymnios Tsahalis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stathis Vassilopulos in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Protokhórion booed when Türkgücü SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akhilleus Panoulias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stathis Vassilopulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stathis Vassilopulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Likymnios Tsahalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Likymnios Tsahalis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Gavril, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Likymnios Tsahalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Gavril, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerkyon Gianakopulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerkops Paitakes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Grigoris Gavril fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Protokhórion's protests and gave Grigoris Gavril a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Protokhórion getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Zacharias Blades hit a great ball. Türkgücü SK's Menios Louverdis got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Grigoris Gavril managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Protokhórion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoris Gavril was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes of play, Türkgücü SK's Kerkyon Gianakopulos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kerkops Paitakes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Likymnios Tsahalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Gavril in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Türkgücü SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkestis Soukis to maneuver through the defense. Labdakos Pezos, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kerkyon Gianakopulos made the kick off in the second half. Grigoris Gavril sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Vassilopulos in the 55th minute of play forced Türkgücü SK's goalkeeper Likymnios Tsahalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Grigoris Gavril came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Protokhórion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigoris Gavril couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, Alkestis Soukis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Türkgücü SK and the Protokhórion players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alkestis Soukis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Grigoris Gavril received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Likymnios Tsahalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protokhórion's goalkeeper Kerkops Paitakes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Kerkyon Gianakopulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Protokhórion's Kerkops Paitakes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kerkops Paitakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerkyon Gianakopulos in the 77th minute of play. Amykos Bocsusis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Kerkops Paitakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerkyon Gianakopulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerkops Paitakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amykos Bocsusis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amykos Bocsusis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amykos Bocsusis in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerkops Paitakes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Protokhórion getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lykurgos Tsiaris hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Protokhórion's zone, Menios Louverdis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerkops Paitakes came out of the goal and Menios Louverdis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Türkgücü SK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
