Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zinon Mestas started the match with the kick off. Amykos Tableriou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amykos Tableriou in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ekhemos Triantafillou saved Sardínia BC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amykos Tableriou in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekhemos Triantafillou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Akheloos Rigatos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Amykos Tableriou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Plouton Pispinis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ekhemos Triantafillou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kroios Harames in the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Kolonos Pantelas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEL Limassol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, AEL Limassol's goal looked a bit too open when Lefteris Kyritsis came free, but Akis Kyritsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akheloos Rigatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akis Kyritsis having to interfere. In the 44th minute Zinon Mestas suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 44 minutes into the game, Iolkos Giouzelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AEL Limassol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sardínia BC the free kick. In the 45th minute, Iolkos Giouzelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akheloos Rigatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 57th minute, Kroios Harames left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEL Limassol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Akheloos Rigatos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Akis Kyritsis. AEL Limassol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akheloos Rigatos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Akheloos Rigatos came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sardínia BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akheloos Rigatos couldn't finish the play. Akis Kyritsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lefteris Kyritsis in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of AEL Limassol booed when Sardínia BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akheloos Rigatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. AEL Limassol's Kroios Harames got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akis Kyritsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akheloos Rigatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Kroios Harames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekhemos Triantafillou having to interfere. Ekhemos Triantafillou was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Amykos Tableriou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amykos Tableriou really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Dinekis Demakis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to AEL Limassol getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kroios Harames hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sardínia BC's Lefteris Kyritsis got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Amykos Tableriou came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AEL Limassol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amykos Tableriou couldn't finish the play.
