Oileus Mentis might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christos Evanggenelis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oileus Mentis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Aison Nikolakakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fotis Papastavrou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Evanggenelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Spyridis in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Thíra FC booed when Floresaioi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aigeus Dreliozis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Evanggenelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.
