After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Omonia F.c's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Longítsion BC's Ilias Petrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zethos Panoulias in the 70th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Lykos Doukatelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Omonia F.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lykos Doukatelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Longítsion BC's goalkeeper Ilias Petrakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyknos Protopsaltis. Longítsion BC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Zethos Panoulias scored to the left of an out of position Ilias Petrakis, making the score, 1-2. After 96 minutes, Lykos Doukatelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Omonia F.c and the Longítsion BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Omonia F.c's Lykos Doukatelis got a free kick in the 96th minute. Nontas Katsafanas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nykteus Moraitopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The Longítsion BC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Omonia F.c's performance. The match ended with a win for Omonia F.c.
