Lefteris Blades showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Dritsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Alexandros Dritsas struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Lefteris Blades didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ. When Argiris Antimisiaris fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ's protests and gave Argiris Antimisiaris a yellow card for diving instead. Danaos Pavli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Likymnios Tsangaris made a huge save. In the 24th minute Alexandros Dritsas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lefteris Blades saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Voïníkon FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Voïníkon FC's Iphikles Pappayiorgas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iphikles Pappayiorgas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Likymnios Tsangaris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Danaos Pavli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Likymnios Tsangaris made a huge save. In the 37th match minute, ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinekis Karabachos to maneuver through the defense. If Danaos Pavli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Voïníkon FC's Lefteris Blades played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dioskouroi Potamianos in the 43rd minute of play. If Alexandros Dritsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lefteris Blades didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Argiris Antimisiaris went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dioskouroi Potamianos to make the kick off. ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ's Alexandros Dritsas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lefteris Blades showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dioskouroi Potamianos in the 56th minute of the match. Alexandros Dritsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandros Dritsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danaos Pavli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Likymnios Tsangaris having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Danaos Pavli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 84 played minutes ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Dinekis Karabachos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iphikles Pappayiorgas in the 88th minute of play forced ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ's goalkeeper Likymnios Tsangaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Voïníkon FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pavlos Mestas hit a great ball. Voïníkon FC's Lefteris Blades proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Voïníkon FC from getting a goal against them. Danaos Pavli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ's zone, Danaos Pavli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Likymnios Tsangaris came out of the goal and Danaos Pavli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 99 minutes, Danaos Pavli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voïníkon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danaos Pavli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
