The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ reached it. Likymnios Tsangaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lynkeus Sarantopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lynkeus Sarantopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Likymnios Tsangaris having to interfere. When Kapaneus Karnoupakis fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tsambí BC's protests and gave Kapaneus Karnoupakis a yellow card for diving instead. Alexandros Dritsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lynkeus Sarantopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Argiris Antimisiaris. Kapaneus Karnoupakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lynkeus Sarantopoulos struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Likymnios Tsangaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tsambí BC. 31 minutes in the game, Kapaneus Karnoupakis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Kapaneus Karnoupakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lynkeus Sarantopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Alexandros Dritsas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kapaneus Karnoupakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Likymnios Tsangaris having to make a save. Lynkeus Sarantopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Likymnios Tsangaris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lynkeus Sarantopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th match minute, ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinekis Karabachos to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ's Dioskouroi Potamianos got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacharias Katsivalis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Kapaneus Karnoupakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Likymnios Tsangaris. Kapaneus Karnoupakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Kapaneus Karnoupakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Alexandros Dritsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Likymnios Tsangaris didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tsambí BC's Lynkeus Sarantopoulos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aigis Mandrapilias in the 89th minute of play forced ΔΟΞΑ ΠΑΛΙΟΜΕΤΟΧΟΥ's goalkeeper Likymnios Tsangaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
