Spectators: 3102 (Terracing: 1500, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 2) Giorgos Telis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Vathípedhon booed when Mousalár was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glaukos Katsourinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Mousalár got a freekick which was hit by Thrinakie Zouvelekis. If Nikos Kezdoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glaukos Katsourinis during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Mousalár was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glaukos Katsourinis to maneuver through the defense. Tityos Kringos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leukothoe Bocsusis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kezdoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mousalár's goalkeeper Leukothoe Bocsusis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leukothoe Bocsusis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Telis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iason Leontarakis to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vathípedhon's goal looked a bit too open when Iason Leontarakis came free, but Alexandros Stamatelopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Makhaon Brisimitzakis fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vathípedhon's protests and gave Makhaon Brisimitzakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, one of Vathípedhon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vathípedhon. Tityos Kringos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alexandros Stamatelopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iason Leontarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Iason Leontarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mousalár's supporters rose to their feet, but Iason Leontarakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Stamatelopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Giorgos Telis came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vathípedhon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Telis couldn't finish the play. Giorgos Telis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leukothoe Bocsusis having to interfere. Nikos Kezdoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leukothoe Bocsusis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Telis in the 96th minute of play. Tityos Kringos might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandros Stamatelopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tityos Kringos ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
